NCIHC Leadership Update

We're writing to share an update on NCIHC's leadership.

Earlier this year, Eliana Lobo stepped down as President due to family circumstances. Eliana served NCIHC with extraordinary dedication as a board member, Standards and Training Committee chair, and President. Her leadership helped shape our strategic direction and strengthened the organization in lasting ways. We are deeply grateful for her service, and we wish her and her family the very best.

In accordance with our bylaws, Andy Schwieter, who was serving as Vice President, assumed the presidency.

The board has appointed Yuliya Speroff as Vice President to fill the vacancy. Yuliya brings extensive experience in healthcare interpreting as a Russian-English interpreter, staff interpreter supervisor, and much-beloved trainer. She has been an active contributor to NCIHC's work as a member of the Board, the Standards and Training Committee, and the Social Media work group. We're glad to have her in this role.

With this transition complete, the Executive Committee is:

NCIHC's work continues with strong momentum. We look forward to sharing more at the Annual Membership Meeting on April 27.
